What are the youngsters communicating during gathering or discussion? How deep are their conversations?
The answer is the younger generation nowadays prefer to scroll Facebook news feed or photos in Instagram, instead of speaking to their real life friends sitting next to them.
When we are facing our electronic devices, we never thought of the feelings of other people around us. They are being ignored all the way through the meeting or gathering. Just imagine how hurt it would be if we are the girl in this video. Put down your phone, start talking to your friends and family!
i think most of the people doing the same things as shown in the video. haha.
ReplyDeleteYup..
ReplyDeleteThat is the negative effect of technology nowadays...
Owh! I'm getting most of it. Snap photo before dining, posting to Instagram, looking at phone while eating, sitting by the same table, but not communicating. We didn't realise how absurd it can be when it is filmed into a video.
ReplyDelete"The trend of 'foodstagramming' may signal bigger problem", said Dr. Valerie Taylor, chief of psychiatry at Women's College Hospital at the University of Toronto. You are potential of having disorder syndrome because the food itself become the focus point and the others are background.
ReplyDeleteI also ever read a newspaper article saying that those who tend to take pictures of food before consuming it have the high risk of suffering from mental diseases. Hmm....it seems that I got many friends who have mental problem around me. Should be more careful by then.
DeleteElectronic devices can make our life become more funny and interesting. However, it also can bring a lot of negative impact especially communication with other people.
ReplyDeleteThe video pointing out all of the thing that people do nowsadays. Sometime I not prefer smartphone as I really afraid that I would become one of them. Technology would control me.
ReplyDeleteObviously, the misuse of technology is stopping us from communicating
ReplyDeleteSometimes it annoys me when I tried to talk with someone and that someone just keep staring at his/her phone and ignored me. I should have glued their phone at their forehead so they can see much more better.
ReplyDeleteI try to control myself from touching my phones when I hang out with friends. However, if I see most of them play phones then I will just follow as well. Because when they play phone, that means we have nothing to say. so I better play phone also rather than just sitting there.
